PRESTIGE

History

Prestige was founded in 2014 and began operations in Brazil in 2015, driven mainly by the opportunities generated by the concentration of the distribution of fragrances and cosmetics in very few players.

The combined experience in luxury fashion and cosmetics companies of the 3 partners as a key driver to ensure excellence in execution and innovation in a challenging market that has been changing, together with the country's economic scenario.

We started as a monobrand operation in makeup with Bourjois Paris. In the same period, the Chanel group announced that Coty had acquired Bourjois.

After one year of operation, Prestige quickly expanded into fragrances. The first fragrance groups were Interparfums US with Abercrombie and Hollister, followed by Richemont with Cartier, LVMH (Bvlgari, Loewe and Acqua di Parma) and Estée Lauder (ADF Fragrances).

In 2020, Prestige expanded to the hair care category with PHYTO PARIS, a French botanical brand distributed in salons, dermatology clinics and online.

A skincare department was developed in 2021. The first brand to be distributed from the local Estée Lauder subsidiary for selective and premium doors in the Brazilian market is Clinique.

In 2022, we took the lead in the distribution of Luxury Cosmetics in the national market; Shiseido announced the partnership with Prestige for the development of Dolce&Gabbana, Issey Miyake and Narciso Rodriguez in the Brazilian market. Prestige also closed a partnership with ‘Give Back Beauty’ to maintain the distribution of Tommy Hilfiger and relaunch Elie Saab in 2023.

2022 was also marked by new skincare projects: Clarins, La Prairie and Filorga starting distribution in 2023.

As of 2023, we intend to return to our roots with makeup brands in our portfolio and establish this category within our Beauty Department.
