History
Founded in 2014, Prestige began its operations in Brazil in 2015, driven by the opportunities created by the consolidation of fragrance and cosmetics distribution among only a few key players.
The combined experience of the three partners in luxury fashion and cosmetics was a key factor in ensuring excellence in execution and innovation in a challenging and ever-changing market, in line with the country’s economic shifts.
We started as a single-brand operation in makeup with Bourjois Paris. At the same time, Chanel Group announced that Coty had acquired Bourjois.
After just one year, Prestige rapidly expanded into the fragrance market. The first fragrance groups we partnered with were Interparfums US with Abercrombie and Hollister, followed by Richemont with Cartier, LVMH (Bvlgari, Loewe, and Acqua di Parma), and Estée Lauder (ADF Fragrances).
In 2020, Prestige expanded into the haircare category with PHYTO PARIS, a French botanical brand distributed through beauty salons, dermatological clinics, and online.
In 2021, we developed a skincare department. The first brand distributed by Estée Lauder's local subsidiary for selective and premium retail in Brazil was Clinique.
In 2022, Prestige took the lead in luxury cosmetics distribution in the Brazilian market. Shiseido announced a partnership with Prestige for the development of Dolce&Gabbana, Issey Miyake, and Narciso Rodriguez in Brazil. The year was also marked by new skincare projects with Clarins and La Prairie.
Additionally, Prestige partnered with Give Back Beauty to maintain the distribution of Tommy Hilfiger and relaunch Elie Saab in 2023.
In 2024, we began distributing Roger&Gallet and Filorga, further consolidating our presence in the beauty and dermocosmetics sector.
Prestige also welcomed a new strategic partner in 2024, Leste Group, a global independent investment fund. Our partnership with Leste propels us forward, reinforcing our position as an Independent Distributor focused on growth, and the development of Luxury and Niche Brands in Brazil.
